To ensure your experience is worry-free, here are answers to some of the most common questions about Rent-A-Center’s flexible payments.

How do I make a payment?
You’ve got options! Pay in store, over the phone, online, or through our app. Save time and money by setting up automatic online payments. It’s quick and easy to create your online account. Keep in mind, there may be a fee when paying over the phone.

What does my payment include?
Each payment includes the rental payment for the upcoming agreement period (i.e., the upcoming week, two weeks, etc.), taxes, and, if chosen, Benefits Plus and/or Liability Damage Waiver.

How can I track my progress toward ownership?
Our friendly store associates can provide updates, but the easiest way to track your progress toward ownership is on our mobile app. The Rent-A-Center mobile app is available for download on Google Play for Android devices and iTunes for Apple devices. Get the app today to manage your account anytime, anywhere.

What payment option is right for me?
Rent-A-Center offers four payment options: weekly, every two weeks (bi-weekly), twice a month (semi-monthly), and monthly. To make budgeting worry-free, you will be set up on the payment schedule that coincides with your payday. For example, if you are paid on the 1st and 15th of the month, our semi-monthly payment option is right for you.

What if my payday changes? Can I change my payment schedule?
Of course! Call your local store to be set up on the schedule that works best for your budget.

What if I can’t make a payment?
If you’re unable to make a payment, give your local store a call. We’ll work together to keep you on the path to ownership. Late payments may be subject to fees. If you can no longer afford your payments, don’t worry. You can return your product at any time with no penalty. Plus, you won’t lose what you’ve paid in. When you’re ready, simply pick up where you left off!

Can I save money if I own it sooner?
Yes! You save big when you own your item early!
