The Easiest Ice Cream Recipe Ever

Ice cream coneDon’t have an ice cream maker? Don’t need one! Here’s how to make ice cream in just a couple of steps. The only equipment you need is a hand mixer. A few minutes of prep, a few hours to freeze, and you and your kids are scooping out a delicious homemade treat.

1 14-oz. can sweetened condensed milk
2 c. heavy cream
2 tsp. vanilla extract

In a large bowl, using an electric mixer, beat heavy cream and vanilla on medium speed until stiff peaks form. Do not overbeat. Gently fold in sweetened condensed milk.

Pour mixture into a loaf pan (8.5 x 4.5 x 2.75 in.) and freeze until firm, approximately 6 hours.

Optional: Layer in your choice of nuts, chocolate chips, or cookie crumbles before you pour the mixture into the loaf pan and freeze. The flavor is up to you!
