Our Spring Big Brothers Big Sisters Fundraiser Is Underway

Big Brothers Big Sisters

In 2003, Rent-A-Center began partnering with Big Brothers Big Sisters to achieve a common goal: helping at-risk children thrive in our local communities. Since then, Rent-A-Center co-workers and customers have raised more than $2 million for BBBS. And this year’s Spring Egg Campaign to benefit the organization, is now underway.

How It Works
More than 2,800 Rent-A-Center stores in the United States and Puerto Rico will support the campaign between March 30 and April 30 by asking co-workers and customers to donate $1 or more and sign their names on colorful paper eggs. The pinup eggs will be displayed in-store throughout the campaign, and 100 percent of each store’s contributions will go to local BBS affiliates. Last year’s Spring Egg Campaign raised nearly $58,000.

Mission and Goals
Big Brothers Big Sisters’ mission ties into Rent-A-Center’s: acting with a servant’s heart to improve the quality of life for our co-workers and customers. By fostering strong relationships, BBBS raises the likelihood of children’s succeeding in school, developing confidence, avoiding risky behaviors, and setting higher aspirations. The 325-agency national network and its mentoring programs serve approximately 200,000 children.
