Easy No-Bake Homemade Granola Bars

Parents and children alike love granola bars because they’re as nourishing as they are delicious. But did you also know they’re easy to make?

There is no baking required in this recipe, and it’s so simple that the kids can help, too. Try raisins or dried banana chips for the chocolate chips. If your child has a peanut allergy, almond butter is a fine substitute — and it will taste just as good.

Ingredients
2 ½ c. old fashioned rolled oats
¾ c. creamy peanut butter
½ c. honey
½ c. chocolate chips
Pinch of salt

Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, stir together peanut butter and honey. Add rolled outs, chocolate chips, and salt.

Using your hands or a large spoon, combine all ingredients. Pour mixture into greased baking dish. Using a piece of wax paper, flatten mixture into even layer.

Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate 1 hour, or until firm. Slice into squares and enjoy!
